Is this just another version of a telephone line? In otherwords, will you still have to dial up your ISP and then suffer through disconnects, busy signals, etc. But we can't discount the phone companies because they are not stupid and realize this a multi billion dollar market.

But as also stated in the previous link.."the cable companies have caught them flat footed". This should be an impetus for the cable companies to get these systems converted asap so they can lock up the market.
