TA,

I agree with you that anything that sounds too good to be true,
probably is. But that includes our investments as well!!! <gg>

For maybe 20 years I've followed closely all the reports of
"newly rediscovered" herbs and pharmaceuticals that enhance
sex. In every single instance, these have failed to live up to
expectations. Expectations for Viagra are very high. Even prior
to its approval for sale it seems likely that some of it has found
its way onto the black market. Will all these users be carefully
screened for pre-existing conditions, and then adhere to the
recommended dose and frequency? I think surely not.

Has Pfizer found the magical sex panacea for men that's eluded
searchers for thousands of years?

What will you as a physician tell your patients about Viagra
when "healthy males" come to you in search of a picker-upper
after they or their partner read about it in Bazaar, Elle, Vogue,
Newsweek, Time, Business Week, Forbes, Fortune, Worth, etc.
and hear about it on TV every day?

You've probably given out SSRIs to people just because they
think it will do them good. Plenty of evidence after 10 years
that these are pretty safe. If they try it and like it,
what's the harm? But not for sildenafil.

And, finally, in your experience as a physician, how much
influence does DEA scheduling of a drug have on your prescribing habits? And, do you agree with me that DEA scheduling seems
likely?

Cheers,

David

P.S. As soon as my house closes this week I'm ready to put money
into VLSI and ADPT. Will not go on margin. Buying VVUS will have
to wait till they announce MCA approval of the second plant.
