re << The danger is that somewhere a bunch of them are watching him and learning as we speak>>

absolutely for certain 'they' are watching and learning

there were quite a few historical figures who taught and were emulated by others

cannot think of one instance when such worked out for the better

maybe this time results would turn out different

That all made sense. And describes what's going on.

I watched John Kelly looking at pictures on the wall and moving independently of Trump speaking in a room full of people.

I was not surprised when not long later his departure was announced.

Scott Adams has had the best ideas about Trump since Trump announced his run for president and the mechanisms behind it all including how people function.

It's not random or chaotic . It does appear so and of course much that happens is chaotic.

What Trump does is tames chaos. It seems the opposite to those who don't understand.

You can see it when he sits and moves things around where he's sitting. Moves a pen there, a glass here, a paper there.

I do it myself so maybe that's why I see it. By disrupting things one can get to a newer higher state of order though it looks chaotic and even dangerous to people who can't do things.

Mostly people like orderly marching like China's 50th celebrations. youtu.be

Arrggghhh.... China can't win in the long run because Albert Einstein would have been locked up for having long hair and Alan Turing would have been attacked for being homosexual (he was by the British government = total morons though far less moronic and evil than the Germans, French etc who mass murdered Ashkenazi Jews.)

Big Don is delivering what the apparently crazy and chaotic multivariate USA democratic turmoil selected. The USA has not had huge success for centuries by luck.

Maybe things will go bad in a big way but maybe not. Maybe they'll vote themselves to disaster like Germans, Rhodesians, South Africans and Venezuelans. But maybe not though the trends have been bad.

Meanwhile Trump's twist if reality is 2 years underway and going well. Scary in parts such as WWIII looming but maybe that's just part of the disruptive process in which he threatens defcon10 catastrophically calamitous cataclysm to get to tea in Singapore with Kim the Fatter instead of world record Fire and Fury.

There's method in the MADness.

Military people, kleptocrats and suffocatocracy, police and other authoritarian rule lovers hate it. Most people do. But they'll also follow successful alpha males who bring home the bacon ... jihadists dislike that and his son in law won't be keen either.
