This is very good news for Red Sea! This seems to be a very respectable oil flow. Is there any rumors when the Facha zone will be tested? or is it already tested and we are waiting for results?
A little early for a drink.....but lets have one for Red Sea!

Gord.

Donald: Most of the excitement was from the Zelten reservoir, thats true, but Facha is still very exciting! I don't expect Facha to flow as much as 4000 BOPD, but vacuum pumping can later bring production up to that level. This is what Lundin said a month ago before they decided to test more than one zone. Now we have two tests to look forward to.

The early production will be trucked (50 km +-1km), a pipeline will be completed in one year from now. The existing pipeline network has an excess capacity of 350.000 bopd.

We won't know if they have 100 or 180 million barrels of oil until March, 6-8 weeks from now.
