How do we know that? Just because cpq sold a few 486GX with high Mhz proves nothing.

Go pick those investment opportunities ok. And post some of them.

The 0.35 micron Pentium MMX has been overclocked by many overclockers and reportedly (See ANandtech) runs quite well at 290 MHz.

At 0.25 microns, the Pentium MMX will speed along at >300 MHz, probably at 2 or 2.2 volts.

However, the Pentium MMX is not in Intel's strategic long range plans.
