Dear gm:

Could the handle of our cup be turning into a ladle?

In addition to the ACA and MEO releases of this am, there is this snippet from 1/18/98 per Spec tives:

Crystal Ball
Looks like Montello (MEO)could make a move in the short term and should be watched. All the Alberta Diamond players will likely move together, so each is worth considering. They include Ashton (ACA on TSE), Pure Gold (PUG on TSE), Troymin (TYR on ASE) and Redwood (RDW on ASE).

Certainly hope so. GM

The Alberta Dimaond play is heating up and we think Montello could be a big winner. The company should start drilling any day (perhaps even this weekend, they are waiting for a rig) and we expect the stock will get lots of attention in anticipation of the Vancouver Resources show. Market activity on Thursday and Friday was heavy as more people take interest. This stock should do well in the weeks to come.

Hi Gordon

I'm a beginner at TA. I don't think meo qualifies as a cup with
handle. Too many violations of the "rules"

Rather it looks like meo broke out in late Dec. around .71 I base
this on the following: 1. Draw a line through the highs made in
early May and mid Oct. 2. Draw a line through the lows in late Aug. and early Dec. The result is roughly a symmetrical triangle which
meo broke out of in late Dec. ( It had until late Jan 1998 to make a move or do nothing) 3. Now we have an ascending triangle: Use my
#2 line plus a horizontal line through either the .90 or .94( I believe the all time high is .94) line . If the stock breaks through the .90-.94
line on volume before (timing) the apex of the triangle is reached
then we have "good" news!!

Remember, I'm a beginner!!! but I had charted #1 and #2 in early
Dec. and meo responded. Now let's see if the ascending triangltrick will work.

Looks like some profit taking. Everyone hang in there!!

Tom
