I simply believe in free speech. You can ignore the voices you don't want to hear. However, when a small committee of people starts to be the only authority that can decide what is acceptable speech, then we have devolved into censorship. At one time, it was considered distasteful to discuss allowing women or blacks to have equal rights. Imagine if we had a country where free speech was censored like it is today. Maybe women and blacks would not have come so far as they have. It is essential to protect freedom of speech from all attacks, even the new attacks of the digital age.

Right now, the fight of our age is to ensure Socialism and Communism don't get further along in this country, so they don't destroy everything that has been built in the last 230 years. If conservative voices are blocked, then there won't be anyone to fight Socialism and Communism. Maybe that's precisely what you want to happen. If it comes to pass, then you will wish ever so fervently that you had listened to me and that censorship didn't take down the conservative voices when it was still time enough to fight back.
