Now I'm not sure who wrote that article, but based on that calculation I very much doubt that they ever did anything in the way of Arithmetic in their schooling .....

Soooo.... ~328 million persons x 36gal/day/person x 365days/year = ~4.3 million, million gallons of water per year, slightly more than 13,000 gallons of water per year ....
