During the May to Sept. 1997 period I monitored the Zip & Jaz inventory level at this Internet shopping Site. The P/P & Ext. SCSI
versions were constantly out of stock, validating the notion that IOM was selling all they could produce.Late in that period the ATAPI 5 pack appeared with few listed in stock at any one time. The Jaz inventory usually ran less than 1K. Here are present inventory
