Rarebird, when I read your post I immediately called TDA, but they say there is no such promotion or arrangement. I do know that when TDA took over Scottrade, they gave unlimited free trades to clients for a period equal to the length of time they were with Scottrade. Perhaps that is what you were possibly referring to? I used to be an APEX client at TDA for about 15 years, but left them for another brokerage when they could not offer me discounted commissions. Would be willing to return to them if I can get benefits similar to what I presently receive. IB
