The population at SI is self-selected for an interest in stocks and investing, so just off hand, it seems to me that there would be fewer idealists and more of everyone else. But idealists are a very small percentage of the general population as well, according to Keirsey. I think one of the most interesting things I read is that there have been asbolutely NO idealist presidents. I would assume this is because it is hard to be idealistic and do the back-room dirty dealing that is simply necessary to get ahead in politics. However, it struck me that some politicians have idealistic tendencies--Teddy Kennedy comes to mind immediately (and he is a Pisces). Maybe Al Gore as well. He is very idealistic about environmental issues, for sure.

Since Gandhi and Eleanor Roosevelt are listed as idealist counsellors, obviously both sexes are represented.

Were you going for some sort of romantic attraction between idealists and rationalists? Good for long heated discussions or something!!!
