One thing I should have asked earlier is what type of chips does altera make? Where are they used? What do they do? and why is there a buisiness for Clear Logic to "convert" them into whatever they are converting them into?

I unfortunately never made it to any of my electrical engineering classes while in college. I was too busy learning how to properly manuver a fully loaded keg up three flights of stairs.
