NEWS REPORTED ON CNBC, SAMSUNG CLOSING REGIONAL OFFICES IN NEW YORK,LONDON AND SINGAPORE. TOM you might be right about kurlack, but I remember when he down graded INTC @63 in 1994, then 1 month later upgraded it to a 1 @70!

TB, we've started the shakeout, but DRAM producers will have to go under, quit, and/or merge to a considerably greater extent before this is over. There's no guarantee that MU will survive. They should have taken a loss on Lehi to at least reduce their tax liability going into 98. Should be interesting, though. MU can't produce at a loss or have marginal earnings and produce the cash they need; I won't go off like a broken record, though, and I'll leave it at that. Also re Kurlak and INTC, can you say pressure from upper management? Somebody recommended he change his recommendation, so he did. I really don't think he's crooked, just a blowhard, bully, egotist, etc. Silly, sillly man.
