Holes
or
Laws

TimFism doesn't sound anything like Libertarianism but we do agree the store owner broke the law, so he is just a crim and deserves no pity whatsoever, especially no Libertarian pity, since he has the problem with the cakes, no one else has the problem. But that is settled law and I am not sure why any Libertarian legislator would even want to take up that businessman's fight, it has nothing to do with business and is in fact, bad business (see sports store story again here). Perhaps explain how it isn't totally and outrageously bigoted.

How about this law?
Children under 13 shall not work?
Can you limbo under that one as well?
What if the mother was a lesbian and wanted to rent her daughter out to do housework only to other lesbian mothers? Is that relevant? Would you still support her right to advertise her nine year old on craigslist? I am wondering how far your interest goes in applying your principles instead of Libertarian principles or the entire principle of liberty?

He has asserted (and to my knowledge no one has presented any evidence to to overcome the assertion) that he would be happy to serve homosexuals, just not to bake a cake celebrating a same sex wedding.
He is obligated to to offer any product or service which he normally provides to any customer. They demanded that he create a Gay Pride wedding cake, a product has never created and never offered for sale to anyone. They want to compel him to enter a new line of business. He is right to refuse.
