I read somewhere that even though it is perceived to be a bull market, no one is actually getting rich save a few lucky people. The Dow Jones is only an average of stocks and thus only a minority of those that are actually invested in. The only notice I take of the DJ is to see how it will effect all stocks due to margin calls and availability. If fact the bigger the mutual fund the less it will make on a bull run due to the percentage retrictions of any single stock ownership.
