As Lizard said it wasn't him. It was Mark. I actually appreciated Mark's insights. I think he is a great guy actually and a clear thinker. Hopefully he is wrong on this one and even if not I think he was talking about a quick move down and rebound which won't be too painful for the long term investors. If he can make a buck, why not?

But I am with you. Earnings are likely to be a major blowout over estimates. So the time frame for a short is rather short. By the last week in January the stock will be moving up. This coming four day week is the period where a short might find some opportunity. But then ther is the NITRO announcement which will be positive.

Might be some earnings upgrades too this week.

I think SOCR looks interesting. Not sure if recent low of 7 will hold though - how much of their sales are to Asia?

From a valuation and growth perspective, it looks quite attractive here. High speed scanning equipment looks like a narrow market niche, but worth monitoring for signs of growth acceleration.
