As I live in Switzerland, I was not yet part of any litigation process in the U.S. and therefore have no idea how it works. But you should check the company news for WDC (on Yahoo i.e.): These lawfirms put up press releases that normally contain telephone nos. whom to call at the particular firm. They should help you then.

Hope this helps. Then, there is a Class-action lawsuit thread on SI also. But I don't follow it :-(
