Thomas; OFF TOPIC Some but KOREA;
the voice thingy idea is good, but it's been around for a
while and they haven't nailed it down very much. You can find
free ones that work as good as the stuff they are selling. None of
them are good enough to be concidered productive for the time and troble it takes, it's still more like a toy, but its day will come.
I just got my hands on some new OCR software with my last scanner,
it it's really good ! I remember 10 years ago how OCR was hyped up , but seldom worked. It's come a long way since then.

Korea; Well this drive they have on with the Koreans' donating their
gold to help out the country has me puzzeled. The puzzel part is
the colletors of all of that making a "puplic statement" that it
will be melted down and sold on the market. Governments don't
normally tell up front when they are going to sell gold bullion,
maybe coins ( they always go at a premium ). So that statement
sets off some alarms for me. To melt down hand made art to sell
on the gold market don't make sence, when you know they could
get a premium for it, also it cost to re-refine it into gold
bars as this stuff is not all 24kt. So just why would they
make such a statement. To shake up the gold market ? hmmm
Anyway something don't smell right with this at all. They could
broker the stuff to jewelry discounters and make a lot more than melting it down, they could mint collectors coins and make more, no this "melt it down statement" has rip off written in it somewere.
That would be pure 100% stupid, also a betrayal and sell out of
the spirt of thoes who donated it. At the very least they should
convert it into a special "limited edition" gold coin.
