Thanks, Jim. I have been struggling to get understanding ("With all thy getting, get understanding") of TFS' products and markets and competitors, for over a year. Still struggling, but less as time goes by.

Jim,

Great response to Dale's question. I would also mention that Dale can go to the TFS website and continue with a basic LCD education by browsing through the pages. At least he can get a feeling for the technology. The variety of LCD modules shown in the text should give him a basic understanding of the business areas in which TFS sells their products.

Thanks for the very informative post, Jim.
The only unsettling precept(see >>>>>, below) is that TFS need be concerned only with doing what they are doing and therefore ignore the threats posed by new, albeit presently non-viable technology, just over the horizon. Surely, you are aware of the risks inherent to taking such a "head-in-the-sand" approach in this day and time---especially in this field. Doubtless you did not expect the reader to reach the "don't worry, all is fine" conclusion suggested in the excerpted passage below.

>>>>>It would also require them to become expert in a whole new, immature, and not well understood display technology. Much of their present success derives from the use of mature manufacturing tools and excellent fundamental understanding of the LC technology. Neither exist for OLED today.<<<<<<

Not trying to pick apart your post. Just trying to iterate the need for vigilance on the part of shareholders and corporate officers alike.

Frank

Thanks, that's very helpful. I will also revisit the company's website. I understand it is more informative than it has been in the past.
