No you couldn't, separate but equal was unequal and unethical; and what she is advocating is very equal and ethical.

You could have said that about opponents of Separate but Equal--they were the "normal" ones. But it took many decades to get legal recognition and, incredibly, we are still fighting that fight more than a hundred years after Plessey and more than a hundred and fifty years after the end of slavery.
