The synthetic chemicals you have cited in your post are different creatures.

Think about aspirin from willow bark (the original source of aspirin), and the aspirin you get from the store now.
If chemists can synthesize the same bioactive chemicals that come out of the weed plant, in very pure form, with all the biological activity, at cheaper cost and higher margin, what is the drugstore going to carry on their shelves? What will a doctor prescribe?

This work has already been done for CBD, and can be scaled up to provide a drugstore chain with all their needs in Canada right now, not next year, right now.

Is there much of a market for natural aspirin from willow bark?
