When Europe imposes 25% tariffs on US cars imported into their countries and the US only imposes around 5% tariffs, then that imbalance is called a wealth transfer from the US to Europe.

I believe the EU duty tariffs on US cars is 10% vs the US duty tariffs on EU cars being only 2.5%.
Bad enough for the balance.

One case is the opposite, however, but hardly a significant part of the total balance: US imposes a 20% duty in pick-up vans from the EU.

That said, the German car industry has proposed a mutual 0% between the US and EU. Which IMO most likely will be vetoed by the French.
