Actually, the key theme was quite the opposite. 1984 was all about thought control, controlling the words you can and can't say, and eliminating all freedom. The party we see that in spades with now is the Socialist Democrats. They engage in mob rule, violence, the changing of fundamental language and science concepts like male and female, and they attempt to erase history and vilify our ancestors. The Socialist Democrats are very Orwellian.
