Jeff -I don't think there's much of a slowdown in the DB market in general, but there is for the triumvir of Oracle, Sybase, and informix.
M/S and IBM have had, and I beleive will continue to have, healthy
DB growth, just as I believe these three will be doing so-so for awhile.
As far as the statement that the market really is growing 'if this is true...and we know it is...', - is that thought from the same gang that so knowingly said up, up, up for informix at 20, at 16, at 12, at 8...
