VAT: It's the invisible tax. All you will know is your cost of living went up enormously over night. True, but it's not exactly invisible. You know you're being charged every time you buy anything. Would probably be bed news for very expensive items... but people buying them are doing it mostly for fun or status, anyway. So, let them pay. Unlikely to happen, since the pols don't need it so much. They've discovered the magic of Infinite Borrowing. They'll keep pumping it all the way up until the reckoning day.
