I don't know if this is news to anyone on this thread, however the San Jose Mercury News has an article in it today which says Autodesk CEO Carol Bartz and Oracle President and COO Ray Lane are on the short list for SGI CEO candidates. Regards, Chris

Mathon, your right, my lack of a sexy PA is a shortcoming i must soon correct. Silicon Studio (the training part) is still running mostly in Santa Monica. the other parts, a research/production facility in SF are gone. the remenants of the software development team just released Zapit. Ramsey wanted to take in production work, maybe even win an Oscar. HUBRIS! SGI customers didn't find this one funny. and Silicon Studio's teaming up with Sprint for DRUMS, scorched a few other telcos. (footnote. DRUMS used my model, business plan and clients as the prototype.) vincent
