Wiz,

Glad you enjoy my trivia and jokes. At least I can contribute a laugh or two once in a while, since I'm still learning the in's and out's of the stock market. Once in a while I have something market wise (I use that term loosely) to add.

I'll mention the website idea to my son. Right now he's concentrating on learning to crawl. He's only 6 months old. :-) By the time he's ready to write a web site, us old timers will be telling him how we used to have to type on a keyboard to communicate with the computer.

Yes, I do have some volitile stocks. I used to work for DHTI when they were TRNO. I'm in for an average of 1.40. Then it went up to the $7-8 range. I wanted to sell it but I was talked out of it. Oh sure , I listen then but they couldn't talk me out of buying intel at 78 pre split. Should have sold CKFR at 31 too.. Oh well no use in crying over profits not taken.

I guess I tend to buy stocks that are a little more speculative. If the company is solid, no debt, good products, I'll buy. I just need to get the sell part down a little better. I like Yaacov's style of if is up 50% in 6 months sell it.

Like you said, Most of my stocks are in the buying mode, not selling. Anything you want to short?? I'll buy it and It WILL go down. Just ask Sonny.

Thanks for your market analysis. Eventually this asian crisis will be over and there will be something else for wall street to worry about. It's just the nature of the beast. No inflation is not gone, Been to the grocery store lately. I swear RJR Nabisco is jacking up the price of parkay to pay for the tabacco lawsuits. Glad to hear the other markets are doing well, maybe tomorrow will be a good day.

As far as programming. I am currently working on software for college bookstores. I'm coding 'C' on Unix and learning C++ for MS/ Windows. My company is pretty diverse. Our warehouse division buy and sell textbooks, Retail owns/operates/consults college bookstores and we have a small publishing division. I work for the division that develops and sells the software for the retail stores, I also wrote a remote system for retail and wholesale both to use. Good use of my accounting degree. I keep telling management they need to send me on the buy in St. Thomas (us virgin islands). Darn, my software's too good, they don't need any help. I'd be more than happy to carry the money for them.

Hope your having a great day too.

Take Care

Ann
