Hi Pete,
Nice link you provided -- I use that one a lot when I need some exact prices and can't access my tc2000 charts. tc2000 is very good for charting, but if you want to do in depth TA indicator analysis it is lacking. I do like their custom indicators BOP and TSV though.

The problem with tracking sequentials just from setup is that you will have a very large amount to track by hand every day.
A scan program could show you just the ones that have made it to day X of the countdown, and with a good scan program could even filter out those that have "recycled" (the ones that have another setup in the middle, like you mentioned about ASND).

I took a look at the dow, and it doesn't appear to have a setup anytime in the recent future -- it's been in a fairly tight trading range for some time now.

Do you have any of Demark's books? I've got both of them. Still working through the second one, and then at that point I'm sure I'll be going through them again (and again). The best thing about demark IMO is how he reduces his analysis to a completely objective mechanical system such that two people following it will come up with the same results. A TD Line is always defined the same way, whereas other trendlines can be subjectively created. I like that.

Doug R from the 56 threads (do you read them? Doug R is a fantastic at TA and teaching it as well) has predicted a major drop in the dow at the end of the week. Any short candidates you like at the moment?
I would have to say that GE might be an early favorite given that it is so close to completing a sell sequential. (on day 11)
Demark also mentions a method where you can just use the open or high of day 13 to complete the sequential instead of the close. (called the TD termination count, i believe)
If the dow tanks thurs or fri, this might be the way GE would finish the sequential.....
