Actually, we know why. It's a combination of executive stock compensation, R&D tax credits, and accelerated depreciation expense. In addition, Amazon ran losses for many years, so I bet they have carry forward losses that bring their current tax bills down.

Anyway, what is your point? Should we run Amazon out of business for being a good company? That will put around 600,000 people out of a job. Is that what you Socialist are aiming for? It wasn't enough to shoot down the hopes for the 25,000 jobs that were being brought to New York, now you want to put all Amazon employees out of work? What kind of monsters are you Socialists?
