A beautiful 5 degrees here and no wind, took my two dogs coursing on the frozen creek this afternoon. The young one has learned when chasing rabbit to run straight line, eventually rabbit veers back into range, but no luck today. A month from now when there is an ice crust on the snow the coyotes will clean up most of the deer, their legs poke through the crust and it slows them down while the coyotes stay on top. If I was in Vegas and it was snowing I’d be outside.
