Maybe it is because I am out a bit, but I don't see enough marketing of Trump's wrongdoings to the public - esp. to the independents. Everyone has been so busy focusing on the Russia investigation and Trump's outrageous behavior, that nobody has been talking about his outrageous policies. On a related note - PBS has a good series called the Dictator's Playbook. It discusses various dictators and shows how they rose to power and what tools they used to keep themselves there. Outrageous behavior to distract from terrible policies is one of those tools (e.g. Idi Amin sending creepy telegrams to Nixon and QE II). As is manufacturing enemies. If you watch the series, you'll see that Trump has been successfully using many of the tools in that playbook.
