You are optimistic. I need to rediscover my optimism. I have been very pessimistic for awhile now, because the rise of the Socialists has been fast and pervasive and they are immune to logic and reason. They are even immune to human decency. So I hope you are right. Either way, we have enough money to get the hell out of dodge, if they go too far. I have many friends who got out of Venezuela in time. Ironically, they are here in the US. They ran to the US and now are alarmed that Socialism is coming here. Maybe I'm hanging out with too many Venezuelans and Cubans. They are depressing me. How many times do we have to learn this lesson? Once in a lifetime should be enough.
