Typical Flash card (Smart Modular tech, 4Mbyte card) Standby current: 0.55ma Deep power down: 0.05ma Read 25.00ma Write 115.00ma ZIP Standby current: 1000 ma Read/Write 1700 ma Clik! very, very vague (intentional, because they are obviously tons of problems with this. Look at their 'data sheet' on the WEB. The only statement they make is "consumes about the same as a minature Christmas light" (peak) This amounts to: P = (current) (voltage) P = ~1-2 watts, V = 3.3V current (estimated) peak is about 300-600ma. Standby, which is very important, is unknown.. I'd guess about 1 tenth of this. kp
