All disk programs prevent deletion of operating systems.

Yes and no. While the actual files required for an operating system are usually either hidden or perpetually left open, making it impossible to move or delete them (unless you really want to and know how), it is still possible to remove other files that could make the machine unbootable. Actually, this was a problem in an early beta of BD, since corrected.

I don't have any experience with either program although I do like the concept. My main concern with GS is the possibility that it could interfer with an OEM deal or at least make it more competitive and less attractive. PGSoft presently has an OEM deal with Seagate for tape backup software. The retail price for GS and BD is very comparable $33 and $31.
