Hello Joe and Steve, I have to say that I am quite impressed, and almost complimented, by your suggestions of the conspiracy theories. To think that I have been hand picked as a professional ... well let's see, what would it be ... a professional Internet poster! Yeah, that's it ... Steve, I too have been burned. I have a lot invested in what I felt was a "sure thing" ... I invested in both time and money. And low and behold what occurred ... somebody drove the damn company into a spiral. I sure wasn't going to be able to retire. Well, when you ask for a check to help you through your losses, how about if I give you almost every waking hour I have working to correct the situation, and to try and push this investment into the other direction? CyberSlavery? You know Steve... I am really gullible at times (I really am...), .... Sometimes I'm pretty sharp, but sometimes I'm really a sucker. And...as I've said here many times, I'm not ashamed to admit it. I'm afraid that you are falling into the "not so sharp" direction on this post ...You just hit on something in this post that turned a light-bulb on. You said (in your opinion, as this is in mine), that sometimes you get the feeling that this is part of Scott's job description. This is great. Again I am absolutely facinated by your posts. What is it Joe? Is it the fact that Novell might just succeed without following your directions? Is that it? We might just do it some other way? You know, seldom have you decided to use tactics that truely disgust me, but in this case you have. I am at a complete loss at why you would decide that you *have* to try and find a way to destroy and decredit an employee of the company that you "so want to succeed." Sometimes, in the heat of the moment, things are said which reveal the real intentions. I'm very sorry that you feel this way about me and my intentions. I have at times tried to show respect for your opinions and perspective, fully understanding what you have watched and witnessed. But at this point you have decided to reveal what a hateful person you are. I'm truely sorry that you have to feel good about saying things like this.Believe me, I know (from internal stuff) that employees get "BLASTED" by Peter Troop for posting here. But, not Scott. I'm sorry, but you are a moron. You spew this crap without even thinking. I'll challenge you and your so called "internal sources" any day. Would you please tell me your source of proof that I have not been "blasted" by Mr. Troop? Please Joe ... explain to all of this incredible internal knowledge that I am not under considerable pressure to stop posting? You idiot. You don't know anything. And yes, I am personally insulted and pissed off about your suggestions. You are so far off base, that you'll never even understand what you had. Yeah Joe ... there must be no other explanation ... it's got to be ... there's no way that an employee would stand up for what they believe in, to fight against the pressures that are being placed upon him to do what's right. Got to be a conspiracy ... Your internal sources suck, because you don't even know who I am! Use your sources you brag openly about ... come on Joe ... do it!I know that MSFT does this on the C$serve fora regularly (i.e., put their shills there to rebutt and confuse). Ya' gotta wonder sometimes, how, he NEVER has anything bad to say about the performance of his company...<???>. I never thought about it that way. Yeah ... that's it. You're so short sighted Joe ... it's really too bad. I actually have a meeting this week with the powers that be that has the sole purpose of stopping me from posting. It's a tough call for many people at Novell ... you see it's easy for me. I don't need the job. They can threaten to fire me ... but I don't care. But now I have to agree that much of the time I have spent trying to help is wasted because of a few idiots. I post because I feel that I have been doing the right thing. When you wrote your post Joe, were you doing the right thing?Hmmmmmm.... Regards, Joe..<but, it won't work.<eom> Yeah ... I realize that with you it won't ... you just refuse to see the opportunity that is right in front of you! Too bad. Scott C. Lemon
