KLIC warned in December (I believe it was in the middle of the month) that they were not going to make the quarter. Also, Roger McNamee, a tech money manager who is always on CNBC and CNN, was on Wall Street Week this past week and one area of technology he did not like was semi-equipment cos. because of SE Asia concerns. I would hope that all those concerns are already reflected in the stock.

A lot of uncertainty out there Bob. If you are long as I am and would like to avoid any surprise on Thursday morning I would invest in a protective Put. A small investment can protect what value you have left. I'm not one for insurance but with the way the market has been behaving it maynot be a bad idea.

It should be interesting to see the market reaction to KLAC's earnings released this morning. If good we might actually get over $20 in advance of earnings.

BTW, forget about what people said a few months ago. The landscape has changed so dramatically that you need a different fertilizer if you know what I mean.

Good luck.
