So Medicare for All costs about the same as all other Federal
spending currently, which means a doubling of current revenue
to the Feds. That requires doubling ALL Federal taxes.
That would be true if the budget were balanced, but since we currently run $1T deficits, doubling both taxes and spending would also double the deficit to $2T.

Yikes! BTW: I rented the old Clint Eastwood movie "The Gauntlet" and watched it last night.

I thought it was a great movie, except that Eastwood - who directed it - ended it a bit abruptly. (I guess I just don't like his movies to end. LOL)
