I seriously doubt that MSFT is going to walk away from a government contract. It would have ramifications that would extend far beyond that one contract. Microsoft CEO defends US military contract that some employees say crosses a line edition.cnn.com

New Dev. contract with a Tier one military DOD supplier is at least a start. Raytheon’s Light Thermal Weapon Sight (LTWS)is provide by Kopin which is almost 10% owned by a Chinese company. Matters of national security in the defense business? IMO Vuzix is trying to get away from dependence on Kopin with the recent Plessey agreement.
