Pick and choose what you like (that suits your purpose/pre-determined conclusion), and leave out the data that you don't like (those that are in conflict with the pre-made conclusion), this is the most obvious and prevalent academic dishonesty. If a researcher did that in a Research Institution, he or she will be fired ASAP (after a due process) with any published article retracted. That person will never be hired again by another Institution.

This is why, when it comes to scientific conclusions, you listen to those well established practicing researchers in the particular area, with the results and findings published in the reputable peer-reviewed science journals.

For the rest of us, all we should do is to discern the source carefully and listen to the source.

The climate deniers are financially or politically motivated. They use Financial interest or political interest and already pre-conclude the results of scientific investigations. They are criminals.

Climate denying is not just an innocent ignorance anymore. They are committing willful negligence of criminal consequences. When the denying will ultimately lead to destruction of human life and livelihood on this earth, then it is a serious crime. These climate enemies should be recorded and prosecuted when the destruction gets too severe to ignore any longer.
