I have approximately half of my equities in gold related issues with the following caveat. They are either low cost producers or are junior explorers/developers with enough cash to fund this years budget. I think the leverage of buying at these levels justify the risk and also give me some protection from loss in my other positions if the global debt bubble pops. I think that the current bottom in the price of gold is already in place, and that any smoking gun to further batter it's price does not exist. As the Hong Kong stock market crashed last week, the best negative news against gold was the South Korean citizens turning over their gold story which did little damage. If there was something better, it would have been used then.
