Keep in mind Ayn Rand read the original letter in the original Russian, things get lost in translation for good and bad reasons. Nothing takes away from Solzhenitsyn, what he suffered and what he witnessed and documented so well. “...please read the letter that he sent to the Soviet authorities shortly before he was deported. Read that letter. It has been published; it has been translated. I read it in the original Russian.” Ayn Rand Rand was anti-faith and pro-reason, I agree with her conclusions 95% of the time but I find myself agreeing 100% with G.K.
