Frank, the way i understand it:

If someone makes a positive comment on Clik! it is chearleading and speculation because Clik!=Vapor.

But, if someone makes a negitive claim about Clik! it must be right because "You have to do extrapolations based on current technologies and physics."<g>

>>OK every 35 mm camera you buy does handles auto wind of film. These will never sell. Neither will CamCorders. Ya know they've got motors too. It'll never work! <<

The auto wind (including the end of film rewind) of 35mm film cameras consumes less than 2 minutes of power per roll of film. I have had my full auto 35mm camera run for weeks on one set of batteries (moderate usage). Camcorders go through batteries very quickly, but are large enough in form factor to accomodate the big rechargable NiCads they require.

The point of digital cameras and other portable devices is that they are supposed to be small. Vapor! is also supposed to be small. This means the use of AA size batteries. A digital camera goes through AA batteries like water. NiCad AA size rechargable packs are expensive and not as readily available or convenient as regular Energizer Bunny AA's.

Vapor! and its 3.3 volts can only add to the battery consumption problem, of which digital cameras are prone.
