Cameron,

Do you have more info about the "uncover" bug. I hope the Orb has a flash Bios.

>>BTW, what is it with their website? I keep getting a message that it wants me to open Notepad! Darned if I'm going to open another program just to view a website, are they so incompetant that they can't code the HTML to say what they want?<<

They are using some kind of Javascipt. I have Netscape 3.0 for Mac, and I get a plug-in info pop-up every time I go to Castlewood. I guess you could be running W95 or DOS, and I don't know what is going on there. But one thing I do know-- Andy Chu claims to have found the shipping date around "the end of February" 1998.

There is no info on pre-ordering Orb as of yet. I want to get one before a possible Syquest cease and desist order goes through. (and stock up on discs, too) I plan to use a SCSI Orb with my E-Mu sampler, so swapping discs with others is not a priority. Just cheap fast storage. Orb seems to fit that bill to a tee. I would move my SyJet to my Mac as I use outside storage for my Sampler far more than my Mac.
