>> I guess if you live in the sticks, you'd have a hard time finding rechargeable batteries. << HEY!!! I represent that remark!!!! We have no problem finding rechargeable batteries around here in the sticks....... we just have to make sure we get the ones that can be recharged on a wood stove. Goodness my gracious, what if these bear guys are right about Cluk! ??!! Think of the millions and millions of our dollars that the sleazy IOM management circus has needlessly poured down the Roy sewers. If only they had put that money into CD's, or perhaps better yet AOL stock..... BUT nooooooo........ they trashed any chance for success for this company by pursing a hopeless technology that will never work and that no one wants. How dumb can these guys be? I could swear, though, that if I think back hard enough, I can hear echos of ancient memories of bear growling about how stupid and unnecessary the Zip drive was. It would never sell more than 3 million drives in its entire (short) product cycle. Nobody would buy more than or two disks. Businesses would NEVER, let the Zip toy in their doors (serious, real world work requires serious, real world machinery-- not toys named Zippy), no one wants or needs 100 megs ("My god!! that's as big as my hard drive! I'll never need that much space on a disk!!") If Zip does manage to catch on, then any number of real companies will just come in and bury IOMG with no effort. Oh, and a favorite of KP's back then.... IOM won't be able to become profitable until after the window oopportunity is slammed shut in their face. (KP, I hope that is a fair presentation of one of your old bear growlings) And on and on and on .... Gosh, what if the bears are right this time about the Cluk! ? UFF DA, eh........... Juk!
