Wolfgang, Kodak's problem is not quality. Their products, film as well as digital, are really the best in the world. Look at the mission to Mars. Those were Kodak's sensors that were on that mission. The problem is marketing and price. Kodak's problems are that they can't market what they sell and Fuji's offensive on flooding the US markets with cheaper film that has hurt profits. I'm not familiar with the Matrox Millenium Video card. I am using the nVidia 4MB APG Graphics. I believe gateway uses their own version Accelerator cards. My children like the 3D graphics on some of the games they play. This APG (advanced port graphics) is available with pentinum II's. Dell is a good computer. The problem i was having was due to a networked computer running on windows 3.11. I prefer the tower model units. If you could, I suggest waiting for pentinum II prices to drop and buy one then . I believe the advantex system with a higher end camera is superior. I like the Minolta VE TIS 25. It has a zoom lens with pop up flash. Pictures are far superior to the 35 mm I use to use. Are you writing from europe? If so hows the economy over there? Over here they say that a strong European economy might offset the Asia problem. Do you agree? Best regards Ed
