First the DZZ wave IV requires three abc waves labeled wxy. A DZZ has sub waves of 3-3-3. Each 3 has sub waves of W=5,3,5 - X=5,3,5 -Y=5,3,5. Where are we in this count? We just finished the first 5 up in the second set or wave X. W = abc X = abc Y = abc If correct this appears to be a sideways Double Zig Zag. Right now this will work and is possible. It is unlikely however and will fail when we decline 50-61.8% and then move up beyond a new ATH and much higher in a long wave [3] up. It is very low odds that a wave (II) is a flat let alone a Double zig zag sideways, Twos are most often a sharp abc zig zag. If this is a flat IV off the top it would offer no alternation. The triangle scenario is also possible but has many of the same problems. A triangle has five abc waves. So the sub waves are 3-3-3-3-3 labeled ABCDE. These five waves are commonly between two converging trend lines. If correct we are in the b wave of the second set of 3 or B wave up. So since these things are possible for our Cycle wave IV what are we to do? We will begin playing the odds on favorite aware that at the appropriate time that our position may change. Knowing the possibilities means we will not be surprised by change in pattern in this wave IV. I hate wave fours for just this reason. There are just too many possible patterns. Wave II was a flat and usually when the two is a flat the four is a triangle. So there you are. ???????? All conjecture about this Cycle IV and its possibilities will end when we make a new ATH and continue upward after a retrace of the five up we just finished. The highest odds on favorite is the count found on the chart in the header.
