Hi Joe,

I may be nuts but I picked up 100 May $5 put contracts this morning. I figure since I'm looking for a target price for a long position in that range anyhow, I may as well put a cookie jar money bet on it. At least now folks can say I'm just trying to talk the price down when I say something negative about Novells marketing, management, or revenue potential.

Is Salah still around? Anyone else still doing amature EPS estimates? I'll toss one out just to get the ball rolling. How about -.08 on revenue of $248 million, figuring about 8% average decline in revenue from quarter to quarter for the last 2 years. Investment income at the average of $16 million. Cut sales and marketing expenses by about $5 million by not doing any advertising and laying off a few salespeople.

Be interesting to see what kind of growth the folks from Microsoft claim for NT tomorrow.

Regards,

Don
