Imagine how it would look when the Electoral convention rolls around.

The presumption is that would never happen to a Dem. The only states interested in this are blue and would immediately flip it if a Rep took advantage.

This is absolutely what the Founders were trying to prevent yet I'm not certain how it could be found unconstitutional either.
