Dersh argues only that Trump did not shut down an investigation, and that the firing of Comey was not obstruction. He is right on both the facts and the law.

Pildes may be right about the law, I don't know. But that's a hypothetical argument that bears no resemblance to what has transpired.

No, it doesn't clear anything up. That's his opinion (and 2 years old at that and possible changed by now) and he might be wrong, and Dershowitz and Turley and other legal scholars might be right. Of course, that would also make you wrong....again.
