Scott, thanks for taking the time. Some of these posters really have no clue about what really going on out there. Novell supports it all. And anyone doing serious work knows it. We just got a log added to the DOJ fire......

On the subject of Novell employees posting here

It disturbs me that Novell management would seek to intimidate employees into silence by threatening them with dismissal for posting here. I hope what I read in your post is my misinterpretation. Frankly it serves no purpose to constrict the flow of informtion through official only channels. Novell simply is not IBM or MSFT and it needs openess to get its message across. Tighten up on the info and muzzle the employees and you shoot yourself in the foot. Plus this reminds me of the old management before Schmidt. You just cannot censor people and think they are going to like it. They are going to hate it and that doesn't make for good employe relations.

Despite what you and others may think, Joe myself and a number of other people do want to see this company succeed. However Scott when you have lost a considerable amount of money on a company that doesn't even think shareholders are important( I believe we are priority five or some kind of after-thought) then a certain anger at the more obvious mistakes takes root.

I for one think the bottom line on Novell is producing revenue. Either the company produces revenue or all of the statements made are worthless promises. I do not believe Novell's promises because Novell has no track record of meeting investor expectations. Meeting investor expectations is a low priority or not a priority at all.

I'm sure employees such as yourself are working quite hard but the strategy isn't all there.
